Dear Ms. Price:
This letter is regarding the boats stored on your dock. City code 10.23, 10.24, 10.25 does not
allow for boats to be stored on your dock if they are not registered or owned by the property
owner. After looking into the boat registrations on the boats stored on your dock it has been
determined that these boats must be removed. Please remove all boats not owned or registered to
you by August 16, 2002. If the boats are not removed by that date we will be farced to issue you
a citation.

1. Boat must have a current license. Subd. 13(A)
�_ 2. Boat must be owned by property owner. Subd. 13(A)
3. Property must contain a principal residence. subd. 13(B)
4. Boat must be operable.l Subd. 13(A)
5. Boat must be 30 feet or less in length.2 Subd. 13(C)
6. Boat must be stored at least 5' from lot lines. Subd. 13(E)
7. Boat must be stored at least 15' from Subd. 13(E)
neighboring residence structures.
8. (Lakeshore lots only) Boat must be stored in Subd. 13(E)(1)
a location where it has no significant impact
on lake views enjoyed by adjacent neighbors.
9. (Non-lakeshore lots only) Boat must be stored subd. l3(E)(2)
in a side or rear yard, or on a trailer in the
driveway within front or side street yard?
'Inoperable boats which are under restoration may be stored for up to 2 years.
2Boats lon�er than 30' �vhich can be documented to have been stored on the site within the 24 months
prior to September 10, 2001 may continue to be stored until the property is sold and must meet all
storage location requirements.
