Gentlemen:
At the November 21, 1988 Planning Commission Meeting, the
application to repair Crystal Bay Road was tabled at the
residents ' request.
Staff has submitted information to you regarding the type of
guardrail proposed as part of the project.
The next Planning Commission meeting is January 17, 1989. I must
hear from you no later than January 10, 1989, if you wish to be
on the agenda.

Attached for your review is a copy of the guardrail design
that is proposed for Crystal Bay Road.
The sin le cable design meets minimum standards. The
specification requires a anchor rod at each end post. Because of
the openings for access to your lake access we will have to
design a corner post without an anchor rod that will meet the
requirments of the specification. Please be advised that we will
try to minimize the appearance of the guardrail as much as
possible with plantings, shrubbery, trees etc.
If you have any ideas on how to minimize the appearance of
the guardrail please let me know. I can be reached at 473-7357.

As a result of the action of the Planning Commission on
October 17, 1988, I have tentatively scheduled to meet with the
City Engineer and the affected property owners at the site at
4:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 1988.
The reason for the meeting is to explain how the repairs to
Crystal Bay Road will be performed.
