Dear Mr. Sullivan:
It has come to the attention of this department that your property at 325 Crestview Avenue in
Orono has been damaged and doors and«�ndows have been broken. The City has deemed the
building hazardous due to the fact that the building is open to trespass.
This is an order to secure the building as soon as possible. If you fail to secure the building
within 6 days of this order The City will cause the building to be properly secured and the cost of
securing the building may be charged against the real estate as provided in state statute#463.21.
The Orono Police Department removed materials from a meth lab from the property. The
cooking of ineth contaminates the structure with residue. The building cannot be occupied until
it has been cleaned by a company certified for clean up. Once the building has been certified as
clean, it can be re-occupied. Failure to comply may compel the City to cause the clean up and
certify the cost against the real estate.
