This letter is in response to y�our zequest for duection for�e treatment of tk�e soil azound the
home located at the addzess above. ,As you are aware a Me�amphetamine producing laboxatozy
was discove�ed here in 2003. At that nzx�.e I had been in contact wit�a you're fatk�er William
Su��xvan. My coz�versations with your father revolved around ma,�i.m.g the house k�abitable again
and the process zegarding the use of a certzfied laborato�y testing to ez�su,re that the h�ome saf�.
�t xs uncleaz whether or not t�,e previous occupants w�o k�ad the Methaz�aphetamine�ab dumped
any ck�eznicals on the ground o�z�ot. Thc only way to know is to test the a�reas with bau�e soil, or
areas w�itt�.dead vegetation.
Six�ce the house will be raised, and a new one bui�t iz�its�lace, the soil will be chuined a.r�d other
wise tuzzaed over dw�ing t11at��ocess. Also the soil wa��be seeded o�sod (or pavezx�.ent in the
ease o:f a driveway or�atio) will be placed over it, tk�us eovering any�otentiat contami�arion. I
do not see the need to replace the topsoil at this time.
