If the MCWD has been involved with the permitting process then I don't need to review. We've authorized the District to do permitting on our behalf for crossings of Public Waters and their staff is good at contacting me if they have any questions or concerns. I have copied Steve Christopher on this note just to make sure that the District has permitted consistent with DNR and District rules for Public Water crossings. I have attached a plan from 2003 which illustrates the existing location. It is my understanding that they want to relocate the crossing to be in line with the existing lot line between Lots 2 and 3. The builder has received a permit from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District, and will also apply for a City construction permit. Do you have any comments regarding this project? Specifically, location, type of materials used, method of construction or any other concerns of n e. There are no new structures that are coming in contact with the bed or bank of a watercourse. The bridge will fuliy span the watercourse including the footings. Additionally, there is currently no navigation within the watercourse and hydraulic capacity will not be altered. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist with. He informed me that the project only triggered an erosion control permit from the District. Is this the case? I am asking because for a water crossing permit we would defer to the District's plan submittal requirements for our permit. Can you please clarify this for me?
