Dear Mr. & Mrs. Tichy:
I am writing as a follow-up to the conversation I had with Mrs. Tichy at City Hall. The
subject of the neighbors sport court and obtrusive glare was discussed. I promised Mrs.
Tichy I would bring the matter up at the weekly staff ineeting on Thursday morning and
that I would get back to her. I then received a phone call from you concerning the
Gross's play structure and possibly not meeting setbacks.
I have written the Gross's concerning the lighting. I told them to shield or re-direct the
lighting as soon as possible. The play structure will be allowed to stay even though it
might not be 10 feet from the property line. I realize that I told you the setback for the
play structure is 10 feet but that is only our suggested setback. Since a building permit is
not currently required for the structure there is no established setback. I hope this letter
has answered your questions.
