A RESOLUTION DECLARING
INOVEMBER 27, 1987 AS
TOM BRUNANSRY DAY II�B THE CITY OF OItONO
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota;
and
WHEREAS, Tom Brunansky is a resident of the City of
Orono; and
WHEYtEAS, the Minnesota Twins were successful in winning
the 1987 World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals; and
WHEItEl�S, Tom Brunansky's outstanding performance during
the World Series contributed to the Minnesota Twin' s success .
• NOW, TH�3REFOItE BE IT RESOL�ED, that November 27, 1987 is
declared Tom Brunansky Day in the City of Orono in honor of his
outstanding performance during the 1987 World Series.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono,
Minnesota at a reguTar Council meeting held on the 9th day of
November, 1987. .
