RESOLIITION OF CONGRATULATIONS

WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal organization
under the laws � of the State of Minnesota; and �
WHEREAS, the City of Orono enjoys recognizing the
outstanding achievements of its Citizens and their organizations;
a nd
WHE�tEAS, the Minnesota Twins have proven themselves to
be individulas with great ability, who have through their
teamwork displayed themselves as a championship team; and
W�EREAS, their outstanding performance against the St.
Lou-i°s Cardinals demonstrated this excellence; and
, - WH�R�AS, Tom Brunansky is an Orono resident; and
WHEREAS, Tom Brunansky's superior play during the World
Series was a; key to the team' s success .
• NOW, THEREFOItE BE IT RESOLVEDo that the Honorable Mayor
James R. Grabek, Councilmembers Bill Sime, J. Diann Goetten,
Barbara Peterson and Edward Callahan, on behalf of the City of
Orono, its staff and citizens recognize Tom Brunansky and the
Minnesota Twins for their efforts and congratulate them on a job
well done in the World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals .
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono,
Minnesota at a regular Council meeting held on the 26th day of
October , 1987 . �
