COMMENDATION TO POLICE RESERVE OFFICERS
PETER ACHEY, GREG SIILLIVAN AND RANDY O'BRIEN
WHEREAS, the Orono Reserve force is a vital part of the
: Orono Police mission, and
WHEREI�S, the Reserve personnel �put in many hours of
volunteer time, and
WHEREAS, at approximately 1 : 50 �.m., a radio call was
• put out giving a description of an exposer on the Luce Line, and
WHEItEAS, regular officers were taking a detailed report.

. WHEREAS, Reserve Officer Achey and Reserve Officer •
O'Brien felt they recognized the party responsible for the
incident from this description, and
WH�REAS, Reserve Officers Achey and Sullivan went to a
western area of the City and soon thereafter, spotted the suspect
on the road and held him for regular office.rs who arrived and
arrested the individual for indecent exposure. ,
NOW, TH�R]3FORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Counc i l of the C i ty
of Orono recognizes Reserve Officers Peter Achey, Greg Sulliv an,
and Randy 0'Brien for their attention to duty, the skills of
observation, knowledge of the area and the v olunteer hours they
put in to make Orono a better place to live.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono,
Minnesota at a regular meeting held September 28, 1987.
