RESOLIITION
CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA
WHER$AS, the City of Orono, Minnesota and the County of
Hennepin have in effect a Joint Cooperation Agreement, County
Contract No. 40445, for the purposes of qualifying as an Urban
Caunty under the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development Community Development Block Grant program; and
WHEREAS, the City and the County wish to terminate the
Agreement and execute a new Joint Cooperation Agreement, County
Contract No. 70486, to reconstitute the Urban County for purposes
of the Community Development Block Grant program.
BT IT RESOLV$D, that the current Joint Cooperation
Agreement between the City and the County, County Contract No.
40445, be terminated effective September 30, 1987, and a new
Joint Cooperation Agreement between the City and the County,
County Contract No. 70486, be executed effective October l, 1987,
and that the Mayor and the City Administrator be authorized to
• sign the Agreement on behalf of the City. '
The question was on the adoption of the resolution, and
upon a vote being duly take thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Magor Grabek, Co:uncilmembers Goetten,. Sime, Peterson
and Callahan
and; �
the following voted against the same: none
WHEREQPON SAID RESOI�IITION WAS DECLARSD DDLY PASS$D AND
ADOPT$D this lOth day of August, 1987.
