SPECIAL COMMENDATION
WHEREAS, C. J. Gonsior is a Reserve Officer for the City
of Orono, and
WHEREAS, C. J. Gonsior on April 15, 1987 , was requested
to assist Officer English in executing two search warrants in
regard to thefts from the Orono High School, and
WHEREAS, C. J. Gonsior assisted in maintaining safety at
the search warrant address and assisted in searching the
residence for stolen merchandise, and
WHEREAS , C. J. Gonsior through his training and
• experience in handling these types of situations in a
professional and independent manner, allowed officers to conduct
their searches and subsequent recovery of stolen articles .
NOW, TH�REFO� BE IT RESOLVED, that C. J. Gonsior be
commended for his skills in assisting police officers when
conducting search warrants which led to subsequent charges being
filed against two Orono High School students for the break-ins to
the students locker rooms .
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono,
Minnesota at a regular meeting held July 27, 1987.
