A RESOLIITION RECOGNIZING
WILLIAM J. 'BILL' CARLSON, OTILITY FOREMAN
WHEREAS , the City of Orono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, Bill Carlson has been employed by the City of Orono
from January 7, 1967 to June 30, 1987; and
WHEREAS, Bill Carlson has served as a Light Equipment
Operator, Utility Mechanic and Utility Foreman during those 241 years
and five months; and
WHER�AS, Bill Carlson has experienced the construction of the
Navarre water system and the expansion of the sanitary sewer system in
the City of Orono; and
�
WHSREAS, Bill Carlson has been very instrumental in achieving
• the high ratings of the municipal water system by the Minnesota Health
Department; and
WH]3REAS, Bill Carlson has achieved an outstanding record of
maintaining the extensive and diverse sanitary sewer system in the
. City of Orono; and
,
WHEREAS, Bill Carlson has earned a very high respect of the
Orono City Council, the Orono City staff and the citizens of Orono.
NOW, THERSFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that by this resolution the
Orono City Council and the residents of Orono and the Orono City staff
do show their appreciation for dedication of outstanding service.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono this 22nd
day of June 1987.
