Sec.13.04 RIGHTS OF SLJBJECTS OF DaTa
Subd. 1. Type of data. The riebcs of individual on whom[he data is stored or ro be scored shall be as set forrh in this secrion.
Subd.2. Informa�on reqtrired to be�ven individual. An individual uked to supply private or confideodal dara concerning himself shall
be informed of: (a)[he purpose and inrended use of the requesc�dara within the collecang"star�agency, polidcal subdivisioa,or sratewide rystem;
(b)whecher he may refuse or is legally required to supply the requested data:(c)any irnown coasequence arising from his supplying or refusing[o supply

Subd. 3. Access to data by indi�idual. Upon request to a responsible auchoriry,an individual shall be informed whether he is the subjec[
of stored data on individuals,and whecher ic is classified as public, priva�e or confidenrial. Upon his fuaher requesc,an individual who is the subjecc
of stored privace or public dara on individuals shall be shown[he dara wirhouc any charge to him and, if he desires, shall be informed of[he concenc
and meaning of that data. Afcer an individual has bzen shown the privac�data and informed of its meaning, the data need not be disclosed to him for
six monchs[hereafter unless a dispute or acdon pursuanc to this secdon is pending or addidonal data on the individual has been collecced or created.
The responsible authoriry shall provide copies of the privace or public data upon requesc by che individual subjec�of the data. The responsible authoriry
may require the requesring person to pay thz ac�ual costs of makine,cercifying,and compiling the copies.
'I1ie responsible authoriry shall comply immedia[ely, if possible, with any requesc made pursuant to[his subdivision, or wirhin five days of
the date of che request,excluding Sacurdays,Sundays and legal holidays,if immediate compliance is not possible. If he canno[comply with the request
within that time,he shall so inform the individual,and may have an addiaonal five days within which to comply with the request,excluding Saturdays,
Sundays and legal holidays.
Subd.4. Procedure when data is not accurate or complete. An individual may contest[he accuracy or completeness of public or pri�•ate
data concerning himself. To exercise chis righ�,an individual shall noa"ry in wriang�he responsib(e auchoricy describing the nacure of che disagreemenc.
The responsible auchoriry shall wichin 30 days either: (a)correcc the data found to be inaccurate or incomptete and attemp[to nodfy pasc recipients of
inaccunte or incomple�e data, including recipients named by che individual; or(b)notify the individual tha[he believes the data to be correct. Data
in dispute shail be disclosed only if the individual's sta[emenc of disagreement is included wi[h the disc(osed data.
The decerminadon of the rzsponsible au�horiry may be appealed pursuanc to the provisions of che adminiscrarive procedure act relaang to
contested cases.

The exemption may be applied to no more than three separate improvements made to the hous�and�arage. All
