1. Vou may apply for mechanicaJ permits by mail or in person at the City offices. Applications will
be reviewed and a permit will be issued within rivo working days.
2. Permit cards will be sent by return mail after a review is completed. PFRMITS ARF.NOT
VALID UNTIL,YOtI RECEIVE A PERMiT. WORK MUS7'NOT B�GIN UNTIL THE
PERMIT CARD 1S POSTED ON THE JOB STTE.
3. Mechanical Desi�ns—Complete calculations,details and specifications are required for each
heating,ventilation,humidification-dehumidification,and air conditioning installation includin:
heat loss/heat gain calculation,design temperatures,equipment ratin�s and identification as to
type, manufacturer and mociei. Dat1 shall be presented<m f�rm provided.
4. When any new construction or remodeling is involved,a separate building permit must be
ohtained.
�. All work must be done in accordance with the Uniform Niechanical Code(State Buildin��Code
requirements.
