The ? septic system compliance inspection for the above mentioned location was completed on October 16, 2008. 1 A physical inspeci f tfe setic system area was conducted. No discharge was evident. The septic tanks and pump chamber were probed to verify as precast with solid bottoms. 1 ; The existing mound type drain field was field Incated and soil bvnnqs were I campleted in the drain field area. Soil torings revealed an absence of the condition noted as "mottled solls" to 18 inches blow surface grade. Mottled soils indicate a high watertable condltlan. Regulations for this system require a 36 inch separafion between the bottom of the drain field rock bed nd the mottled soils. I# is apparent there is the requircd cpaation as the drainfied wes built as a mound lo ltiat Specification. Based upon my site ealuation of October 16, 200$ the septic system has ' been classified as a passirg or complying system. Please note that no , determination of future hydraulic performance has been nor can be made due to unknown conditions during system coristruction, abuse of the system, inadequate maintenance, or future wafier usage, ; ; If you have any questions please contact me at (952)461-2356. Do avoid unnecessary foot traffic over the mound, mow it and stay off of it. This is especially true in the winter time. Even human foot traffic can cause frost to penetrate the mound resulting in potential freezing probiems. Do inspect your mound system annually for winter kill, (reseed if necessary) animal damage, (burrowing) or signs of potential failure. Do not plant trees or shrubs on the mound system, smaller trees and shrubs may be pianted at the edges. Remember, that sunshine is the key to a healthy mound system. Do ask questions, if you have any concerns or questions concerning your mound system please feel free to call me, I can be reached at 952-249-4626. 1 r , , . , ,w. . ,.: ;; a r .: ''+* ' ' ?;° b `' 4 a ty ,' ' . . _ s . , ' x t ' r " ' , ; '`` > p, ' ,,, ' r . ,,„ ,:,, . r „ ..°. `, a,. .. } _ ., . ., . ,r> . a ..- °^ +»o✓»e,r. 'S°,w;.'a°'.m.c«t,. °a<,: a:; a ` " x ,_ w` ''" "$i "c +. '' h w'+4iw. . . ..a,^x: i e, s' ' r "' ... 9 x:r , ss».... ,m , .s„iu,,, , ' + ,J: s.?'; m , ,.> ."i . , t' v „. $; . t,P' w : „ . i d '"" s .
