TiX FORFEITED LAND RELEASED
FOR PRIVATE SALE TO ADJACENT OWNERS
[�HERE�S, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the . State of Minnesota;
and . •
WHEEEAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 282 , the City
has received from Hennepin County a list of lands within the City
whieh" have Uecome the property of the State of Minnesota for non—
payment of real estate taxes ; and
WHE�ElS, the City Council has reviewed said lands for
complianee with local zoning ordinances , for the amount of
outstanding special assessments remaining unpaid to the City ,
and/or for possible public use by the City as authorized by the
Statutes .
• NOW, THEBEFO�E BE IT RESOI.VED that the City Council of
the City of Orono , pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 282 , hereby
approves the classification of each of the following parcels of
land as non—conservation land, and furthermore , approves the
public sale of� eaeh parcel of land as listed below to adjacent
property owners .
All pareels remain subject to all applicable zoning
ordinance provisi �ns, including those regulations providing for
minimum lot area" and minimum lot width. Substandard parcels may
be useable only .in combination with other adjoining parcels(s).
Release of these lands by the City Council is subject to
the condition that all outstanding special assessments shall be
paid in full to the City upon return to private ownership. Any
amount not recovered at the time of sale shall be subject to
reassessment by the City.
