Dear Mr. & Mrs . Ashton: �
During the past several months , II have received comments
from residents and the public regardinc� a site distance problem
at the intersection of Chevy Chase Driv� and Ferndale Road North.
I have also observed during routine inspections that the mhugo
pine and fence at that intersection are the cause of the site
distance problem. I would appreciate hearing from you so that we
may discuss a satisfactory resolution to the problem.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Ashton:
Last fall I discussed with you the problem of the trees
growing in the right-of-way at the intersection of Chevy Chase
Drive and Ferndale Road North. We have marked the right-of-way
with stakes but have not heard from you as to schedule for
removing and replanting. We would like to complete the removal
within the next thirty days. Because the trees are on public
right-of-way and private property, the City will only remove that
part which is in the right-of-way unless I receive written
approval from you to complete removal.
We can discuss the problem of the fence after the frost is
out of the ground. I can be reached at 473-7357.

Dear Mr. and Mrs . Ashton:
Thank you for responding to my letter of March 14, 1991 regarding
the removal of trees and shrubbery at the intersection of
Ferndale Road North and Chevy Chase Drive to eliminate a site
distance problem.
As per our phone conversation, we both agree that total removal
of the trees and shrubs is appropriate and that you request the
City to perform the removal and allow City personnel to enter on
your property to do so, but for no other reason and for that time
period only. The removal shall be complete in thirty days.
