Silt fence should be extended to the south to the existing garage on the east side and should be extended to the roadway on the west side of the property. 2. The proposed retaining walls on the north side of the house need to have top of wall (TW) and bottom of wall (BW)elevations called out. If the walis exceed 4' in height or if the tiered wall exceeds 4' in height and are not separated by more than 2x the higher wall, they will need engineered plans and specifications signed by a registered professional engineer. 3. Are the retaining walls by the driveway proposed or existing? 4. The swale is not clearly called out from the existing garage to the west side of the house. There is drainage arrows which indicate there is a swale here. Add a note directing the grading contractor to install a swale in this location. This lake requires a TMDL plan to be written for: Nutrient/Eutrophication Biological Indicators. These impairments affect Aquatic Consumption, Aquatic Recreation. Projects with discharges within 1 mile of an impaired water Owners must submit the application for coverage and the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan at least 30-days before the construction start date for additional review for projects that disturb 50 or more acres of soil and have a stormwater discharge point within 1 mile of an impaired water. An impaired waters for the purposes of this permit are those waters identified as impaired pursuant to section 303(d) of the Clean Water Act where the identified pollutant(s) or stressor(s) are phosphorus (nutrient eutrophication biological indicatars), turbidity, dissolved oXygen, or biotic impairment (fish bioassessment, aquatic plant bioassessment and aquatic macroinvertebrate bioassessment) All projects with a discharge point within 1 mile of an impaired water must incorporate the additional best management practices (BMPs) C.l & C.2 found in Appendix A of the permit for all portions of the project that drain to the discharge point: C.1 During construction. a. All exposed soil areas must be stabilized as soon as possible to limit soil erosion but in no case later than seven(7) days after the construction activity in that portion of the site has temporarily or permanently ceased. b. Temporary sediment basin requirements described in Part III.B.I-5 must be used for common drainage locations that serve an area with five (5) or more acres disturbed at one time. C.2. Post construction. The water quality volume that must be treated by the project's permanent stormwater management system described in Part III.C. shall be one (1) inch of runoff from the new impervious surfaces created by the project. Where site conditions allow, at least '/2 inch of the water quality volume must be infiltrated. See Part III.C.2 for more information on infiltration design and appropriate site conditions. If it is determined that site conditions are not appropriate for infiltration (e.g. lack of 3 ft. of separation to seasonally saturated ground water, proximity to bedrock, contaminated soils) the reasons should be documented in the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for the project.
