Re: Deck Construction without Building Permit
Dear Mr. Lindgren:
It has come to the attention of this office that a deck has recently been constructed on your
property at 3020 Casco Point Road. This letter is to inform you that a building permit is
required for deck construction in the City of Orono.
Therefore the City must require you to remove the deck or submit the enclosed permit
application with deck plans, hardcover calculations and a certificate of survey showing the
location of the deck and all other improvements before May 15, 1993. If this deadline is not
met, the City may issue citations. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at my
office.
