State Building Code. This permit is for only the work described and does
not grant permission for additional or related work which requires separate

expire and become null and void if construction authorized is not

Permit request to add flowers, plants, and grass around deck as noted below:
1. Install landscape edging along the east side of deck facing our house that will
extend from the north property line to the south property line.
2. Lay sod /grass over the existing 2 to 3 foot wide gap that exists on the east
side of the deck from the north property line to the south property line. We will
spread a small amount of black dirt before laying sod. The thickness will not be
more than 1 to 2 inches and will act as a foundation for the grass.
3. The new sod /grass will continue at the same level or grade from the yard to
the east towards the deck to the west over the span of 2-3 feet. We will not
change the natural slope of the yard towards the deck.
4. We will plant a combination of flowers, plants, and bushes to the north and
south sides of the deck to naturally btend-in with the neighbors properties.
