Dear Mr. Johncox:
I am writing in regards to your open burning permit that was issued to you by the City.
You requested a permit for recreational fires and were granted a permit for such. It has
come to the attention of this office that the fire pit you had drawn on your permit
application does not meet the 25 foot property setback requirement. If this is correct,
then the fire pit must be relocated to meet the required setbacks you agreed to when
signing the burning permit.
If the fire pit is not re-located by the time of your next burn, your permit can be revoked
by the City and no furCher burning would be allowed. I thank you for your expected
