In 1987 the city notified property owners on Casco Cove that boat ramps and canopies on the shore were illegal. It is not clear if the one on your property was removed or not. Nevertheless these structures are still illegal even if you are replacing an existing one. Therefore the city must require you to remove the structure. A deadline of November 10, 2014 has been established for compliance. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at my office.
