As we discussed,Damon Farber Associates is working on the Bowers residence in Orono. We understand that,in replacing the existing driveway,the City of Orono does not require a building permit, and because of this,no hardcover analysis is required. We would like to inform the City that the hardcover condition is going to be lessened with the installation of the new recycled brick and cobbiestone drive. The new installation will take up less area in hardcover and will offer a percolation factor that does not exist with a bituminous drive.
