A RSSOLOTION bECLARING
JUNE 14, 1986 AS
• WINTON BURMASTER DAY IN THE CITY OF ORONO
WHEREAS, the �City of Orono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota,
and
WHEREAS, Winton Burmaster was a patrol officer on the
Orono Police Department from 1958 to 1976, and
,
WAEREAS, Winton Burmaster was a sergeant on the Orono
Police Department from 1976 to 1980, and � �
WHEREAS , Winton Burmaster was an Assistant Chief of
•. Pol'ice on the Orono Police Department from 198�1 to 1986, and
WHEREAS, Winton Burmaster has been a positive asset to
the community and a steadying influence to the Department, and
WHEREAS, Winton Burmaster is retiring after 28 years in
police work. ,
NOW, THBREFOR�3 BE IT RSSOLVED, June 14, 1986 is declared
as Winton Burmaster Day in the City of Orono in honor of his many
years of service .
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, this
12th day of May, 1986.
