A RSSOLUTION DECLARING
THE INTERSECTION OF WILLOW DRIVE
AND STATI3 AIGHWAY 12 AS
A DANGEROOS INTERSECTION
• WAEREAS, the Orono City Council is concerned with the
safety,•� health and welfare of the citizens of Orono; and
WHEREAS, the Orono City Council is concerned with the
safe and reasonable traffic flow in the City; and

WHEREAS, a recent traffic fatality at the intersection
of Willow Drive anc3 State Highway 12 has prompted a study of the .
traffic patterns of that intersection and area; and
� WHEREAS, the study has determined that consideration of
* � th� installation of a traffic semaphore at that intersection
should be given priority.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City
Council does c3eclare that the intersection of Willow Drive and
State Highway 12 is a dangerous intersection and that the
Minnesota Department of Transportation place this intersection on
a priority for the installation of a permanent traffic semaphore.
- Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono,
Minnesota at a regular meeting held May 12, 1986.
