�' WHLREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota;
- and.
� �WH$REAS,Paul Christy, 2941 Casco Point Rd, Wayzata,
:; Minnesota, 55391; is the fee owner of record of property located
at 2941 Casco Point Road, Orono, Minnesota, herein referred to as
� � the Property, and legal ly described as follows:
' Spring Park, Lot 92 and the South Easterly 30ft of Lot 93 .
Also the South Easterly 30ft of Lot 104 �
P.I.D. #20-117-23-31-0047

� WH$RBAS, the City Council of the City of Orono, having
duly considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
Sections 463.15 to 463.261, hereby finds that the above described
� property is uninhabitable and contains unsanitary and lhazardous
conditions which constitute a public nuisance and which makes
this property hazardous to the public health, safety and welfare
based on the following findings:
1. Roof caveed in. �

2. Rafter rotten.

; 3. Elect. not hooked up - but improper wiring.
^ 4. Conc block wall caving in on two sides - (north & west)
` 5. Building left open to public.
6 . Buil ding is in a state of deterioration and
;; dilapidation, thus it is a saftey and heaith hazard pursuant
: to Minnesota State Building Code/Uniform ,Building Code, . -

= 6. Orders to remove or repair the structure were issued by
' • the Building Official on February 3. 198fi. These orders have
not been complied with.

a NOW, T�R$FORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
� �
� � 1. That the City Counc3l of the City of Orono, pursiiant to the
a � foregoing findings and in accordaace with Minnesota Statutes
, � Se�ctions 463.15 to 463.261 hereby orders the owner(s) of the
� �: property to :raze and remove the structure on the property. The
{ ' Council further �orders that all personal property or fixtures
� that may unreasonably interface with the razing be :r,emoved within
. twenty (20) days of the service of this order or the City of
• Orono may remove and sell such personal property or fixtures at a
` public auction in accordance with the law. ,

; 2. The City Council of the City of Orono further orders that
�x � unless this corrective action is taken or an �answer is served
� . upon the City of Orono and filed in the office of the Clerk of
District Court of Hennepin County, Minnesota, within twenty (20)
days from the date of the service of this ,order, a motion foi
summary enforcement of this order wil 1 be made at District Court
.I� of Hennepin County.
`.• 3. That the City Council of the City �of Orono further orders �
�� that if the City is compelled to take corrective action herein
, al 1 necessary costs expended by the City will be assessed against
°< the real esta;te concerned and co11•ected in accordance with
�� Minnesota Statute, Section 4'63.22. .

'r 4. That the City Council of the City of Orono hereby authorizes
`� and directs the Mayor, City Clerk, City Attorney, and other
officers and employees of the City to take such action, prepare,
_� sign and serve such papers as are necessary to comply with this
Order and to assess the cost thereof against the real estate
�� described above for collection along .with taxes.
