Instead it was decided to use an existing low area as the rain garden. This low area is not reflected on the survey. Furthermore, calculations will need to be performed as to the storage capacity of this area to determine if it will hold at least 232 CF as specified in my 5/18/2012 email (see attached). • Since there is snow covering the ground and driveway, it is difficult to determine if any of the driveway is actually directed to this area. It was also discussed about running roof drains to this area. I will need to see some sort of documentation that there is a correct amount of area draining to this low area. • Finally, the approved grading plan showed a swale along the south side of the house. The snow makes it difficult to see, but it appears this swale was never installed and it is not reflected on the as-built survey.
