HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1923 � ' d .:_ , Ci.t� o� ORONO • Q� RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL • � NO. 1923 • - • • , � A RSSOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DEFERMENT FOR LAWRENCE JOSEPH SYMONIAR WHEREAS , the City Council has ordered a local� improvement project known as LS85-1 Crystal Bay Sanitary Sewer •. for which special assessments have been levied against the benefited properties; and WAEREAS, the City Council has adopted Resolution Numbers � 1093 and 1779 establishing a policy and procec7ure for deferring such special assessments for persons 65 years of age or older who have limited income and assets and for whom payment of such special assessment would constitute a financial hardship; and • NOW, THEREFORE, BE YT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Orono, hereby finds that the applicant has demonstrated a hardship consistent with the provisions of , Resolution Numbers 1Q193 and 1779, and hereby orders deferral of , the payment for the levied special assessments as follows: , APPLICANT: Lawrence Joseph Symoniak ADDRESS: 1155 Brown Road South LEVY N0. The owner dies and the spouse is not otherwise eligible. � 2. The property or any part thereof is sold , ' transferrec3 or subdivided; � 3. The property should lose its homestead status; or 4. If for any reason the City determines that there would be no hardship to require immediate or partial • payment.
