• A RESOLDTION ORDERING ABATEMENT OF
(HAZARDODS BOILDING ACTION AT
� ! 2695 CASCO POINT ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of nrono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota;
and
WHEREAS, Ron Noland 4651 Nicols, Egan, Minnesota 55122
the fee owner of record of property; and
WHEREAS, Builders Finance, 1055 Wayzata Boulevard, '
Wayzata, Minnesota 55391 and Chuck & Sheri Ost, 8035 Erie Avenue, ,
Chanhassen, Minnesota 55317 have an interest in the property
located at 2695 Casco Point Road, Orono, Minnesota, herein
referred to as "property" and legally described as follows:

P.I.D. : 20-117-23 23 0003
� WHEREAS, the City Council of the Gity of Orono, having
duI.y considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
Sections 463.25 to 463.251, hereby finds that the above described
property is unhabitable and contains hazardous conditions which
constitute a public nuisance and which makes this property
hazardous to the pub�I.ic health, safety and welfare based on the
following findings:
• l. Building open to public. � �
2. Building has not been backfill.ed - excavation around
building and in garage (attached) 8 '+ deep.
3. Orders to correct these hazardous conditions were issued
by the Building Offical on 7/5/85 and 8/16/85. These orders
have not been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
l. That the City Council of the City of Orono, .pursuant to
the foregoing findings and in accordance with Minnesota
Statutes Sections 463.25 to 463.251 hereby orders the
� owner(s) of the subject property to correct on the property
these hazardous conditions within the time as follows:
' a) Building boarded up - 10 days.
b) Hazardous excavation - 15 days.
