A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO POST
NINE TON AXLE LIMIT ON OLD BEACH ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has determinded that� an
excessive number of trucks are driving on Old Beach Road, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that excessive number of
trucks and the gross vehicle weight could cause severe damage to
the street, and
WHEREAS, there is an alternate route available for the
• trucks.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono Council
does hereby authorize and direct the Public Works Department to
post Old Beach Road nine (9) ton per axle. � .
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono at a
' regular Council meeting on July 22, 1985.
