Dear Mr. King:
It has come to the attention of this department that you have recently constructed a deck
on your property at the above referenced address. This letter is to notify you that The City of
Orono requires a building permit far decks.
Therefore The City must require you to submit a permit application with a survey
showing the location of the deck, hardcover calculations and building plans. A review will be
completed and if building and zoning requirements are met a permit will be issued. A deadline
of February 10, 2003 has been established for permit application submittal or deck removal. If
