The skid <br /> steer is considered "special mobile equipment" and according to 78-1577(5) the outdoor storage of <br /> special mobile equipment is prohibited in all Residential Districts within the City of Orono. <br /> This letter will serve as your notice that the property must be brought into compliance by <br /> . January 25, 2010 in order to avoid legal action by the City. In order to bring your property into <br /> compliance the skid steer must be removed from the above property, stored in an enclosed building or <br /> - an appeal to the City Council must be requested by January 25, 2010 to avoid legal action by the City. <br /> Please be advised, if you fail to correct the violations or request an appeal hearing before the City <br /> Council prior to the deadline, the City will correct the violations and the costs to do so will be assessed <br /> against your property [Cite: City Code 58-1(c) & 78-1577(6)]. Those costs will be certified to the County <br /> Auditor and will be collected in the same manner as special assessments against your property. <br /> I have attached the pertinent City Codes for your reference.
