A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR
. A PUBLIC HEARING ON
PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR �
A SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
FOR THE CRYSTAI, BAY AREA 85-1
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has accepted bids for the �
construction. of a sanitary sewer improvement project for the
Crystal Bay area; and
WHEREAS, the City Council presently intends to proceed
with the improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci 1 of
the City of Orono, Minnesota, the following:
• l. A public hearing will be held on the 22nd day of April ,
1985 in the Orono Middle School Auditorium, 685 Old Crystal
Bay Road at 7:�•0 p.m., to pass upon such proposed assessment
and at such time and place all persons owning property
affected by the proposed improvements will be given an
opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Administrator is hereby directed to cause a
notice of the. hearing on �the proposed assessment to be
published once in the Laker Newspaper at least two weeks
prior to th� hearing, and he shall state in the notice the
total cost of the improvemerit. He shall also. cause mailed
� notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in
the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the
public hearing. � �
Adopted by the City Council of Orono on this 25th day
of March, 1985, by a vote of 3 ayes and 0 nays.
