Dear Mr. Bebo:
This is a follow up letter to our discussion yesterday for property located at 2715 Casco Point Road.
Lyle Oman, Building Official and I met with you to discuss the structural integrity of the house and
determined there were issues with the existing building. Following review�of the site/building it was
determined the floor and parts of the exterior walls within the lakeside 18' of the residence were not
structurally sound. It was approved by the City to allow replacement of the foundation under this
section of the house during the remodeling project. However, due to the condition of the building
above and around the new foundation it was determined that the portion of the house located over
the new foundation must be replaced to ensure the building will meet Building Code requirements.
The remainder of the house is structurally sound. If any replacement to main portion of the house
beyond what we had discussed is required the item will require an amendment to the variance
approval.
