Dear Ms. Breckman,
During routine inspections by the Minnehaha C�eek Watershed District (MCWD)staff on Monday
November 13, 20�6, it was observed that work was peri`ormed on your property. It appears lhat
that work being performed on your property may�equirQ an MCWD permit.
Please submit a plan showing the scope of work planned for your property. Provide the quantity of
soil that you needed to excavate or may bring in for fill, and the dimensions of the disturbed areas
result'tng from the addifion.
Once you submit your info�mation we can make the �etermination if the quantity of material on your
site is passing our thresholds for a Rule B: Erosion Control Permit. At that time you may be
required to submit additional information for a permit�o be issued. lJntil a determination can be
made the soll IS stabilized there needs to be a sedimQnt or erosion controf ineasure such as silt
fence in place to �nsure that the fill material remains on your lot in the event of a large rainfall.
Please submit the requested information by IVovember 24, 2006. A failure to respond may result in
formal enforcement action to which a permittee may be subject fio�permit violatians includes
issuance of a stop work order, criminal misdemeanor prosecution, and fees for additional
inspections and legal costs, Working without a permit wlhere one is required is in vlolatlon of
