Wayzata, NIN 55391 Location: City of Orono, Sec. 20BC, Spring Park Bay, Lake Minnetonka Purpose: Installation of 180 lineal feet of rip rap shoreline erosion protection. Dear Mr. Downey: In response to information received, a site inspection was conducted of the above noted project. The site inspecrion revealed that rip rap shoreline erosion protection has been installed along the shoreline of your property. Permit Application No. 92-08 was reviewed at the regulazly scheduled February 20, 1992 meeting of the Board of Managers. Acrion was taken allowing District staff to issue your pernut only after receipt and staff approval of additional items detailed in a letter from the District to you dated February 24, 1992. These items have not been received and the permit has not been issued. Accordingly, you are hereby notified that this work is in violation of Rule F - Shoreline Improvement of the rules of the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. You are required to submit to the District the additional exhibits listed in the February 24, 1992 letter and acquire an "after-the-fact"pernut from the District. These items include: 1. Correctly completed permit application signed by the applicant. 2. Written permission for work performed on property not owned by the applicant. In addition, the District requests that you attend the next meeting of the Complaint/Violations Committee of the Board of Managers to be held at 5:00 pm, Thursday, March 12, 1992 in the Burwell Room of the Minnetonka Community Center. Please note further that under Rule J of the District rules, any person who perferms any work for which a permit is required under these rules without having first obtained a permit from the District shall pay to the District a fee equal to the District's actual costs of field inspection of the work, including investigation of the area affected by the work, analysis of the work and any subsequent monitoring of the work. R. Wagner, 92-07 William Standke, 92-08 Chuck Downey, and 92-09 Irene Standa which were submitted by Smith Construction, Inc. The site inspection revealed that rip rap has been installed at these locations. As you are aware, these projects were reviewed at the regularly scheduled February 20, 1992 meeting of the Board of Managers. Action was taken allowing Dis�ict staff to issue these pemiits only after receipt and staff approval of items detailed in letters from the District to the applicants dated February 24, 1992. Copies of these letters were sent to you. Accordingly you are hereby notified that this work is in violation of MCWD Rule F - Shoreline Improvement.
