A RESOLUTION APPROVING .
� A METES & BOUNDS SUBDIVISION
OF A LOT LINE REARRENGEMENT FOR
MALCOLM S. MACRAY
FILE NO: 879
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Ninnesota;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has
adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and
safe development of land withiri the City; and
_ WHEREAS , the City Council has considered the
application for a subdivision by blalcolm S. MacKay, (hereafter
"the subdivider" ) of a property legally described as follows :
� � All that part of Lot l , "Auditor's Subdivision Number 291,
Hennepin County, Minnesota", lying East of a straight line
drawn parallel with and 725 feet East of, measured at right
angles to, the East line of West 1/2 of Southwest 1/4 of
Section 26, Township 118 , Range 23 , and lying North of a
line drawn parallel with and 366 feet North of, measured at
right angles to, the South line of Section 26, Township 118,
Range 23, according to the plat thereof on file or of record
in the office of the Registrar of Titles in and for said
County. .
Part of Lot l is subject to certain rights and restrictions
as contained in deed Doc. No. 126904 , Files of Registrar of
Titles. Also
All that part of Lot 1, "Auditor's Subd 'ivision Number 291,
� Hennepin County, Minnesota" lying East of a straight line
drawn parallel with and 1055 feet east of, measured at right
angles , to the� East line of the West 1/2 of the Southwest
1/4 of Section 26 , Township 118, Range 23, and the same
extended, and South of a straight line drawn parallel with
and 366 feet North of, measured �t right angles to, the
" South line of Section 26, Township 118, Range 23, according
to the plat thereof on file or of record in the office of
� the Registrar of Titles in and for said County.

Part of Lot 1 is subject to certain rights and restrictions
as contained in deed Doc. No. 126904 , Files of Registrar of
Titles, (herea�ter the "property" ) ; and
WHEREAS, the subdivider has completed all requirements
of the City for a metes and bounds subdivision for division and
combination purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOI,VED, that the City Counci 1
of the City of Orono hereby approves the metes and bounds
division of a lot line rearrangement for Malcolm S. MacKay as
shown on the Certificate of Survey by Mark S. Gronberg dated
December 3 , 1984 and attached to this resolution subject to the
following conditions :
l. Upon approva 1 of the subdivision by the City Counci 1 of
Orono the owner of Parcel C as described in the Certificate
of Survey referenced above must apply to the City for legal
combination for tax purposes with Parcel B as described in
� that same survey. .
2 . The aforesaid �division as shown on the attached
Certificate of Survey shall be filed by the City of Orono
with the Hennepin County Registrar of Titles on or before
June 10, 1985 together with a certified original copy of
this resolution.
The approval granted by this Resolution shall expire if
the division .has not been filed by the date specified above. In
that event, it will be necessary to file a new application with
the City of Orono for subdivision review.
Adopted by the City Counci l of Orono, Minnesota, this
lOth day of December, 1984 .
