RESOLUTION ELIMINATING THE ABSENTEE VOTING
PRECINCT IN THE CITY HALL KNOWN AS
PRECINCT NO. 5
WHEREAS, The City has 5 voting precincts located in/at
. Council Chambers Precinct I
Gray Freshwater Institute Precinct II
Lakeview Golf Club Precinct III
Orono Middle School Precinct IV
Absentee Voting, (City Offices) Precinct V
. WHEREAS, elimination of the Absentee Voting Precinct will
improve the efficiency and operation of vote counting, with each
absentee ballot counted in its respective geographic precinct.
• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R$SOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Orono that the City Offices located at 1335 Brown Road South are
hereby eliminated as absentee voting precinct No. 5 and that all
absentee ballots for all precincts in the City shall henceforth be
counted in their respective geographic precincts .
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota,
at a regular meeting held August 27 , 1984 .
