Re: Hazardous garage
Dear Ms. Roberts,
It has come to the attention of the city that there is a garage on your property that is in danger of
collapse. It is the intent of the city to require you to remove the structure voluntarily, however if you fail
to do so the city will declare the building hazardous and seek a court order to remove it. If the city
removes it the cost would then be assessed against the property as a special assessment.

Re: Hazardous garage
Dear Ms. Roberts,
On March 15`h 2012 this office notified you of the hazardous condition of a garage on your property. As
of this date the garage is still in need of repair or removal.As we discussed an option for you would be
to allow the city to remove it and assess the cost on your taxes for up to 5 years.
A deadline of July 15, 2012 has been established for repair or removal. If this deadline is not met the city
will proceed with hazardous building action and seek an order from a Hennepin county judge for
removal.
