RE: Property Line Fence
Dear Dan:
After considerable research and discussions with both the Hennepin County Survey
Off'ice and the City of Orono Building Official,Mr. Lyle Oman, we were advised of the
following:
The current fence posts and cement pilings are not verifiably within your properiy
boundaries. In order to properly erect a fence along your properiy boundary, a boundary
survey needs to be done to esta.blish true properly corners and lines for erecting such a
fence.

"A boundary survey establishes the true property corners and
property lines of a parcel of land. Boundary surveys are typically
performed to obtain building permits, to resolve property disputes,
and for erecting fences. "
Therefore, until such property corners and lines can be established by a registered land
surveyor,we are requesting that you remove said posts and pilings that are currently in
dispute.
