Re: Home Occupation Violation
Dear Mr. Christensen:
The City has received complaints about your business operation from your residential property. The
property is located in the RR-1B zoning district. This is a One Family Residential District that does
not allow business operations. It does allow certain home occupations. However, your operation
does not meet any of the requirements for a license. Therefore, the City must require you to cease
use of the property for your business. All commercial equipment and employee vehicles must be
stored and maintained elsewhere.
A deadline of July 27, 1998 has been established for compliance. If this deadline is not met the City
will initiate legal action. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at my office.

We have spoke in the past about storage of your business equipment on your property
and the vacant lot across the street. The City is again receiving complaints.
Therefore the City must require you to move this equipment from your residential
neighborhood. A deadline of August 6, 2001 has been established. If this deadline is not met
