Re; Grading
Dear Mr. Hulbert
When your house was approved by the city, the city approved a grading plan. When the
final inspection was completed the property conformed to the grading plan. Then it
appears the landscapers changed it. On the north side of the property a swale was
proposed to direct the water from your house to the rear of your property. Instead the land
got sloped directly toward the neighbors property. Now all the water from your roof
drains across their yard. The sump pump discharge also got placed at the edge of the
property and also runs onto the neighbor's yard.
This letter is to request you to redirect your drainage to the rear of your house and away
from the neighbor. I spoke with Sven and he said that you had hired the landscaper and it
was not his issue. Please contact me to discuss how and when the work can be completed.
