Dear Mr. Silbermann:
On March 25, 1987, an inspection was conducted at the above
subject property which revealed the following code violations:
1. Storage of unlicensed unoperable vehicles
Mustang BGU 779 Expired May 1984
Mustang AAA 060 Expired August
Pinto PKR 747 Expired June 1986
Plymouth - Flat Tire
2. Storage of car parts (engine, radiators, seats, tires,
etc. ) and various other debris
The above is in violation of Orono Municipal Code Sections
9.50 and 9.55, Subdivision l. I am writing this letter to inform
you that corrective action must be made before April 8, 1987. If
corrections have not been made by this time, citations wi 11 be
issued and you will have to appear in court to explain why you
will not correct this matter.

Dear Mr. Silbermann :
Enclosed are the results of analyses conducted on water samples collected from
your well . The well was sampled as part of a monitoring program established
by the Metropolitan Landfill Abatement Act. The water samples have been
analyzed for the presence of 54 volatile organic chemicals and seven indicator
parameters.
Volatile organic chemicals were not detected in the samples. The concentra-
tions of the indicator parameters were within the range of background water
quality.
We have enclosed a copy of the analysis report, and a water quality informa-
tion summary. Should you wish additional information, please contact Ron

the fol lowing section(s) of the Orono Zoning Ordinance:

STORED ON PIIBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY. It is unlawful to park or store
any unlicensed, unregistered or inoperable motor vehicle lacking
essential parts, household furnishings or appliances, or parts or
components thereof, on any property, public or private, unless housed
within a lawfully erected building. Any violation of this Section is
declared to be a nuisance and upon seven days written notice to the
owner, as shown by the records in the office of the County Auditor, of
private premises on which such material is found, the City, may remove
the same and certify the cost of such removal as any other special
assessment. For the purpose of this Section, an inoperable motor
vehicle shall be defined as lacking, including but not limited to,
parts essential to operation, such parts being wheels, tires, motor,
drive train, battery, or having two or more f lat tires, or having the
interior, including the driver's position, used for storage in such a
manner that no person can operate the vehicle.
SEC. 9.55. MAINTENANCE OF PRIVATE PROPERTY.
X Subd. l. It is the duty of the owner of every vacant property and the
owner and occupant of every occupied property to maintain same in a
neat, clean and presentable manner free of any junk, debris, refuse,
litter, dead trees, or noxious weeds, and to remove all other public
health or safety hazards therefrom.
Subd. 2. Grass and Weeds. The owner or occupant of every lot or
parcel shall regularly cut or otherwise maintain all grass and weeds
thereon at a height of not more than six (6) inches.
Please take action to comply with the above ordinance requirement(s ) by
November 11 , 1991 A follow-up inspection will be made at that time to
verify compliance.
