Dear Mr. and Mrs. Bittman:
It has come to the attention of this department that you have recently constructed an addition to your
garage on your property at 25 Brown Road South in Orono. This letter is to inform you that the
City requires building permits for the construction of garage additions. Additions must meet
setbacks from property lines and other structures. Please provide the enclosed permit application,
a plan showing how the garage addition is built and a survey showing its location. A review will
be done and if it meets the zoning and building code requirements, a permit can be issued. A
deadline of May 13, 1996 has been established for submittals. If you have any questions,please feel
