Dear Mr. and Mrs. Kelley:
It has come to the attention of this Department that you are keeping a horse on your property
at 4495 Bayside Road. I regret to inform you that the City requires a minimum of 3 acres to
keep a horse on the property. Your property is approximately 2 acres.
Therefore, the City must require you to remove the horse from the property. A deadline of
July 10, 1995 has been established. Please feel free to contact me at my office if you have
any questions or if you have a problem meeting this deadline.

RE: Horse
Dear Ms. Kelley:
On June 23, 1995, this office notified you that you were in violation of City ordinances by
keeping a horse on a property not large enough to support it.
Your failure to comply leaves the City no alternative but to initiate legal action. Action will be
withheld until August 21, 1995. If the horse is still on the property at that time, the City will
issue citations and refer the matter to the City Attorney. If you have any questions, please feel
