Re: Concrete Pile
Dear Mr. Peterson:
Approximately a month ago I stopped and spoke to you about a concrete pile on your property.
Perhaps being that the pile is on the other side of your fence and you don't have to look at it, it may
have slipped your mind. It hasn't slipped the minds of your neighbors, however, who do see it on
a daily basis. I had hoped that you would remove the pile out of courtesy to your neighbors but since
that didn't happen, the City must require you to remove the pile as it is a violation of Orono
Municipal Code Section 9.55, Subdivision 1. A deadline of July 1, 1998 has been established. If
this deadline is not met, the City will issue citations and refer the matter to the City Attorney for
further legal action.
