Dear Randy:
As requested I visited your above referenced residence on Friday,
March 7, 2003. The purpose of my visit was to view the structural
condition of the existing home and determine if the existing structure
can be modified by placing a new roof over a portion of the existing
home. The new roof would be supported by a new ridge beam spanning
about 32 feet,with new rafters bearing on that center beam and the
exterior bearing walls.
The existing home is in good structural condition. The existing footings
and foundation walls will support the loads imposed by the new ridge
beam, without over-stressing the existing structwe.
