A RESOLUTION GRANTING EXTENSION OF
THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL
FOR THE PLAT, CRYSTAL CREEK, APPLICATION NO. 1457
WHEREAS, on March 23, 1992, the City Council of the City of Orono adopted
Resolution No. 3094 granting an extension of preliminary approval of a plat proposed by
applicant, Alan G. Carlson, involving the properry located at 3140 Watertown Road; and �
WHEREAS, the effective period of preliminary plat extension expires on April
8, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has advised Council that he is unable to fulfill the
conditions of preliminary plat approval until the issue of the option of a southern bypass for the
Highway 12 improvement is resolved; and
•
WHEREAS, applicant has demonstrated a substantial fmancial commitment
during the review of the preliminary subdivision application. .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Orono that the effective period of preliminary plat approval for Alan G. Carlson's proposed plat
known as Crystal Creek involving the property located at 3140 Watertown Road and as
originally approved per the conditions of Resolution,2948, adopted April 8, 1991, is hereby
extended to April 8, 1994.
Adopted by the Ciry Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting
held this 8th day of March, 1993.
