A RESOLUTION DECLARING
THE NEW CITY FACILITIES TO BE
SMOKE FREE BUILDINGS
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal orga.nization existing under the
laws of Minnesota, and
. � WHEREAS,the City of Orono wishes to provide City officials, employees, and
the general public with a work and meeting environment that is smoke free,
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has constructed the followi.ng new buildings:
• Orono Public Works, 2700 Kelley Parkway
Police Department, 2730 Kelley Parkway
Village Hall, 2750 Kelley Parkway �
Council Chambers, 2780 Kelley Parkway
. NOW, TI�REFORE, BE IT.RESOLVED, that Orono C`ity Council has
designated all of the above named buildings to be snmoke free buildings with the exception
of a designated area in the police department for the sole use of individuals while being
detained for a criminal investigation. �
Adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting on February 8, 1993.
