F' I i B( SYSTEM DESIGN FOR CHAD & SUSAN LANNOM OF LOT 1. BLOCK 2^, JOHNSTON'S FRENCH LAKE SECOND ADDITION ORONO, MINNESOTA 12-15-86 1. Percolation Rate. Type of System. 30.7 minutes per inch for holes 4.5, and 6 for a shallow trench system. The alternate site near perc. holes 1 and 2 with an average rate of 45.8 minutes per inch would also need a shallow trench system if ever used. 2. Proposed Flow Rate. 3 bedrooms @ 150 G.P.D. = 450 6.P.D. 3. Soil Treatment Area Required. 2.0 percolation factor x 450 G.P.D. 4. Size and Numbt-r of Trenches. 900 Sq. Ft. Minimum. 4 trenches 3 feet wide and 75 feet long = 900 Sq. Ft. These trenches would be 1-1.5 feet deep in the natural soil and be spaced a minimum of 7.5 feet apart center to center. 5. Drainfield Rock Needed. 50.0 cubic yards of rock is needed to have 12 inches under and 2 inches over a 4 inch distribution pipe. It appears that some black loam fill will be needed over the top of the trenches. Also, either a swale or interceptor drain is needed to divert runoff water from going through the drainfield area. 6. Septic Tanks. Two septic tanks, of at least 1000 and 750 gallons are needed. In addition, it may be necessary to have a third pumping tank and pump depending on the final house elevation. 7. Additional Information. All construction and materials must adhere to the provisions of the City of Orono. All grading and construction traffic must be kept off both the primary and alternate drainfield areas. If any other information is needed, please contact me. Sincerely, PERCOR, INC. Mark S.
